First opportunity to speak – Dennis community

Dennis community: Tomorrow, October 4th at 6:30 pm, is our first opportunity to speak to City Staff and then the following week, are public hearings in front of the Weatherford City Council. It is important that we have a united front with limited emotion and concentrating on the facts. Our lawyers recommend that all information, such as letters/emails to the City staff or Mayor and Council be reviewed by either Jay or me first so as to not jeopardize on-going dialogue by an inadvertent statement. Coordinating our ideas also will help us maximize the time we may have to speak at the public hearings so we can address all of our points.

Please know we are proceeding in more than one direction to make sure our incorporation goes through, but we are not openly discussing our strategies.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Send your comments to me or Jay at the email addresses below, but most importantly, plan on voting for the incorporation on the 8th of November, Regardless of the action Weatherford may take, it is important for us to approve the incorporation. Please don’t let anyone or anything you read convince you otherwise. Please know that we understand this is an emotional time for our community but we need to unified and present our ideas as recommended by our outside counsel.
